WELL....... It happened again. We thought we were on the right track to getting Grandma admitted to the NH and then I opened the mail. We got a letter from Medicaid concerning her case. They have decided that the money paid to her Missionaries (Grandsons) is a transference of assets. UGH!!!!!! So now her assets that we thought we were getting down to where we could admit her have increased to almost $6000. Every time I think about a Grandmother not being able to give her Grand-kids money/presents it makes me so angry. I am going to meet with Tanie today after school to see what we can come up with.
Grandma is mentally doing quite a bit better. She makes sense most of the time and just when you think you are having a normal conversation she says something that is so totally off the wall....like thinking Dallin is always here and Erica has never moved to Houston. Yesterday she couldn't remember Jacee getting married....
The picture frame is really cool.... [Aunt EA bought Grandma a digital picture frame that she can "use" in her room.] Grandma was concerned about how much it cost and told me to quit spending her money or she wouldn't have anything left...... I just couldn't tell her that was what we were trying to do.
She told me that the Dr told her she could come home next week. We know that isn't true, because Aunt Tanie talked to him yesterday, and he has no intentions of letting her come.
We lost a cow and a calf over the weekend. The cow, was almost a blessing. She was an older cow that had prolapsed, hadn't calved, and was pretty sick. We had been doctoring her, but she just wasn't responding. The calf was pretty sad though. It was a good strong healthy calf. It was next to the feed trough and we concluded that it had been trampled by cows/bulls fighting to eat.

Update from Emery County
I thought Aunt EA's email was interesting today.
